Expired Anime Fighters codes are strings that once paid orbs, fruit, tokens, or boosts and now return an expired or invalid message at the Twitter icon. This archive exists so you can stop retrying dead names and go back to the working codes table. It is not a second live list.
Boss Studios ([B:S] Anime Fighters) does not publish an official countdown. Codes vanish after updates, hotfixes, and seasonal events. A July string can outlive an August hotfix. That is why this wiki splits live and dead pages instead of mixing them in one undated dump.

Why a code fails
Expired. The developers disabled the grant. Retrying on a new device does nothing. Retrying after you join the group does nothing. The Twitter prompt is checking a global flag, not your world progress.
Invalid. You have a typo, a code from the wrong game, or a string that was never live. SECRET and NEWUPDATE are classic bait in old blog posts; they are dead here.
Already redeemed. Not expired. Your account already took the loot. Skip it.
Case or punctuation mismatch. Live codes such as FIREWORKS! still require the exclamation mark. Expired codes with double bangs (WORLD83!!, DEMONSLAYERUPD!!) fail for both reasons: they are dead and they are easy to mistype.

What to do instead of retrying dead codes
- Redeem every row that is still marked working. That single pass is worth more than hunting 2022 like-milestone strings.
- Claim the non-code lobby gifts: YouTube gift icon for permanent luck, and the pirate-ship table for the X follows. Steps are on How to Redeem Codes.
- Read Updates for the numbered patch that killed the old string. UPDATE101 dying is a hint that UPDATE102 exists, not a hint that WORLD83!! returned.
- Watch the Anime Fighters Discord announcements. New codes are almost always named after the patch (UPDATE102, LIMITBREAK) or the bug they fixed (SHOPFIXED, PASSIVESFIXED).
- Put boosts on a real farm. Expired-code anxiety often comes from feeling behind. Yen from bosses and fruit from meteors still outpace a dead SECRET grant.
Do not buy code packs. Do not paste loadstrings that promise to generate working codes. Those are unrelated to the Twitter box and they violate Roblox rules. This wiki will never list a generator.
How expiry usually lines up with patches
Numbered codes (UPDATE100, UPDATE101, UPDATE102, UPD95!, THANKYOU96) tend to ship with the matching update and die after a later numbered drop, but that is a pattern, not a promise. Hotfix codes (SHOPFIXED, PASSIVESFIXED, REQUIEMSORRY, BUGSQUASHED, THANKSFORPATIENCE) can linger because they were apology grants. Seasonal codes (JULY4TH, FIREWORKS!, FREEDOM, REDWHITEBLUE, SPARKLER) sometimes survive into autumn; as of 6 September 2026 those five were still live, which is why they are not on this expired page.

Old Trello cards, 2022 listicles, and mixed AFS / AFS X / BlockZone roundups recycle names. Checks before you paste:

- Rewards are Cursed Orbs, Heavenly Fruit, fragments, Requiem or Passive tokens, Mysterious Keys, or Mega boosts. Not Chikara, not Tensei.
- The redeem UI is the left Twitter icon, not Shop then Codes.
- The string is on the working table or this archive, not a random comment.
There is no reliable official Trello in 2026. Bookmarking an old Trello URL is how players keep trying WORLD83!! months after it died.
