Best Teams

A “best team” in Anime Fighters is a job, not a poster of six Divines. You have a limited number of equip slots. Artifact of Multitude and extra-equip upgrades add bodies; they do not let you run every rarity at once. Build around one core unit from the current world, then fill slots with passives that serve the session you are in.

This page does not invent a six-name meta that will die next Tuesday. It tells you how to assemble teams that still work after Update 102 and after the next island. Pair it with the Tier List Hub, Secret fighter tiers, and the fighters roster.

If your account is still unlocking islands, follow getting started and worlds until you can stand at the newest Star. Hunt the hidden ??? with the secrets guide instead of guessing names. Teams below assume you can already farm Yen and open Stars.

The three cores you actually need

1. DPS core (S-band). Slot the current-world Secret, current-world Divine, or an Infused / Demonic carry if you already crafted one. Vegetable, Great Ninja, Hernando, Engineered Alien, Red Bat, and Flaming Hero are the Divine names players still cite; they only stay S if they dropped from a recent world or you Infused them. Damage and Resurrection passives belong here. Attack artifact is optional if you already one-shot the room.

2. Star core (Luck / Time). This team exists to print ??? and Shinies. Put Luck and Time passives on as many bodies as you can. Fortune and Time artifacts beat Attack. Mega Luck and Shiny boosts fire at the Star, not in the AFK circle. Read summoning so you are not opening the wrong world’s Star.

3. Farm core (Drops / Yen). Hording artifact, Drop boosts, Collector-style passives if you rolled them, Riches only if you have nothing else to wear. This is the team that rebuilds Yen after a Secret hunt using the Yen farm guide. Legendaries and current-world Mythicals are acceptable B-slot fillers. Commons and Rares are D-food; they do not get a slot.

You do not need three full unique rosters if slots are tight. You need three loadouts: swap artifacts, swap who stands in front, and keep the current Secret in the party unless you are purely fragment-farming.

Slotting rules that survive patches

  • Newest world first. A Secret from the island that just opened beats an old Mythical you Limit Broke last month. See rarities if that sentence still feels wrong.
  • Same unit: Infused > Limit Broken > base. Do not keep a base copy in the team because you “like the skin” if an Infused copy exists. Infuse and Limit Break is the upgrade path; Limit Break wants matching Shinies.
  • Passives outrank pretty rarity. Time, Luck, Damage, and Resurrection can make a B-rarity body more useful than a blank Divine. Reroll on the core, not on C-fillers. Transfer Tokens move a god roll onto the new Secret after you hatch it.
  • Keep A+ summons. Low-rated fillers get fused. Low-rated current Secrets still get a locker slot because copies are rare.
  • Do not Infuse patch bait on day one. New units look shiny in the trailer. Wait until you know they are the real Secret / Divine and not a Mythical the patch wants you to waste three Limit Breaks on. Updates and codes first, ego second.
  • Crafted is a B-core, not an S-promise. Three Mythicals plus world shards (five Shinies plus more shards for Shiny Crafted) will hold a slot while you hunt ??? . Use the tools hub craft notes. Stop investing when the Secret lands.

Shiny copies of the core go in the team even if a non-Shiny Divine is “rarer” on paper. Shinies hit harder and they are the fuel for Limit Break. Details on Shiny fighters.

Example loadouts (roles, not a fake six-stack)

New-island climb. Current-world Mythical or Crafted in front, last-world Secret or Divine behind, Legendaries as C-fillers. Farm Yen on the previous boss, buy the next world, repeat. Do not stall ten hours opening an old Star.

Secret hunt night. Star core: Luck / Time passives, Fortune + Time artifacts, Mega Luck + Time + Shiny potions from boosts. Auto-sell Common through Legendary. Never auto-sell Secret, Divine, or Shiny Mythical-plus. Park Cursed Orbs and Heavenly Fruit; those are for Heavenly / Ascension projects, not Star fodder.

Dungeon / raid night. Passage artifact if timers matter, Damage passives, current Infused carry. Mysterious Keys and raid currencies are why you showed up. Do not waste a Mega Shiny boost in a dungeon if you are not opening Stars afterward.

Post-rebirth check. The Rebirth system is a shop and reset layer. After any rebirth, re-equip the current Secret first and confirm the Rebirth shop before you rebuild Limit Break queues. Do not invent multipliers; read the live shop and Discord.

Equip count matters more than a fourth mid unit. If Multitude is still low, three strong bodies beat six Commons. Artifact priority from the community remains Hording > Time > Dreams > Multitude > Fortune > Passage > Attack > Riches > Leveling. Leveling last is intentional: XP does not hatch Secrets.

Automation will not pick passives for you. If you still browse macros, keep it on the scripts hub and assume anything that auto-Infuses is how people brick accounts.

Swap rules when a new island drops

When the next world goes live, do this in order: redeem codes, walk the new Star, identify the hidden Secret, and demote last week’s S-core to A without deleting it. Move Luck passives toward the new hunt. Leave Limit Break machines running only on units you still want Infused. If the patch added a flashy Mythical, it is probably bait until proven otherwise. Rebuild the three cores above around the new island, not around the unit you spent two weeks watching on YouTube. The best Anime Fighters team is the one whose Secret is from this world and whose potions are actually on during the open.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Anime Fighters players.

What is the best team in Anime Fighters right now?

The team built on the current world's Secret or Divine, Infused if you have it, with passives that match the job (Damage for DPS, Luck/Time for Stars, Drop for farm). There is no frozen six-name list that survives the next island. Start from the Tier List Hub.

Should I run one team for everything?

You can share a current Secret across jobs, but artifacts and passives should swap. Star nights want Fortune and Time. Farm nights want Hording. DPS nights want the Infused carry. See boosts for potion timing.

Do I replace Limit Broken Mythics when a new Secret drops?

Move them to A-bench. Do not smash them for fusion unless you are broke on food. A Limit Broken last-world Mythical still farms. The new Secret takes the front slot. Path is on Infuse and Limit Break.

Where do Crafted fighters fit on a team?

B-core for the current world while you hunt the Secret. They are better than Legendaries and worse than a current ??? . Stop pouring shards in once the Secret lands.

Can passives make a worse rarity better than a Divine?

For a specific job, yes. Luck or Time on a B-body can beat a blank Divine at Star opens. Still hatch the Divine/Secret; then Transfer the roll. Roster notes on the fighters hub.

Should I Infuse the new unit on patch morning?

No. Redeem codes, check the new Star, and wait until you know it is the real S-piece. Patch bait exists so you waste Limit Break copies. Update 102 walks the post-drop order.
