Fighter Rarities

Every fighter you hatch in Anime Fighters wears a rarity. The ladder used across this wiki is:

Common < Rare < Epic < Legendary < Mythical < Crafted < Secret < Divine

Shiny is not a ninth rung. It is a stronger coat of paint on any of the eight. Demonic and Heavenly projects sit on top as craft and ascension layers; they still start from this ladder. If a YouTuber shuffles the order, trust the Star UI and this page.

This is the keep-or-fuse manual that sits under the fighters hub and the tier list. New accounts should also open getting started and summon.

What each rung is for

Common, Rare, Epic — D-food. These exist to fill the first minutes on Super Island and then to be sold or fused. Auto-sell them once you can. Do not talent them. Do not Limit Break them. A Shiny Epic is still food unless you are desperate for fusion XP and have no Legendaries.

Legendary — C-filler. Useful while a world is new and you have no Mythical yet. They hold a slot, they die as soon as a Mythical of that island exists, and they make acceptable fusion food. Keep a Legendary only if it rolled a Time or Luck passive you want to Transfer later.

Mythical — B-core and craft fuel. Current-world Mythicals belong on the team until the Secret or Divine shows up. They are also the recipe for Crafted: three Mythicals of that world plus that world’s shards (five Shiny Mythicals and more shards if you want the Shiny Crafted). Old-world Mythicals become food or Limit Break material, not forever carries. A new-world Secret still beats an old-world Mythical. That rule is on every page for a reason.

Crafted — B, sometimes A if Limit Broken. Stronger than the Mythicals you fed it, weaker than a current Secret. Craft when the Secret is not coming and you need a body for best teams. Stop pouring shards once ??? lands. The tools hub covers a free craft path; shards come from raids, dungeons, and Time Trials, not from wishing.

Secret — S if current world, A if last world. Hidden ??? , one per island, not listed on the Star preview. Pinkie (Kid Buu) is Super Island. Asuku, Tokio, Dobonito, Eagle Eyed, Big Ben, and Sun follow on the early climb. Do not ask this page for eighty names. Hunt the Star you are standing on. Full hunt notes: Secret fighter tiers and secrets guide.

Divine — S/A depending on recency. Named hatchables such as Vegetable (Vegito), Great Ninja (Madara), Hernando (Pucci), Engineered Alien (Mewtwo), Red Bat, and Flaming Hero (Endeavor). Two Divines per later world is common; early worlds differ. A Divine from two islands ago is an A-bench or Infuse project, not an automatic team captain.

Ratings cut across every rung. Keep A+. A low-rated Common is nothing. A low-rated current Secret is still a locker keeper because copies are rare. Limit Broken units can climb past normal rating caps; that does not make a Common into a Divine.

Crafted, Secret, Divine — do not mix the machines

People brick accounts by feeding the wrong rarity into the wrong machine.

  • Craft machine — Mythicals plus world shards. Output is Crafted. Needs the Mythicals unlocked.
  • Limit Breaker — three Shiny copies of the same unit, Mythical or higher. Output is Limit Broken: extra passive, higher talent cap. Walkthrough: Infuse and Limit Break.
  • Infuser — three Limit Broken copies of the same unit. Output is Infused, which beats Limit Broken on that body. Do not Infuse the patch bait unit on day one. Check updates first.
  • Demonic / evolution machines — eat Infused Divines plus dungeon materials. That is an S-project, not a beginner step.

If the unit is Common through Legendary, the only machine it belongs in is the fuse/sell loop. If the unit is a Shiny Secret, it belongs in a vault until you have three matching Shinies or a Transfer plan.

Food versus keepers at each rarity

Use this when auto-sell settings scare you:

  • Auto-sell on: Common, Rare, Epic. Add Legendary once current-world Mythicals exist.
  • Auto-sell off: Mythical, Crafted, Secret, Divine, and all Shinies of Mythical-plus. A misclick here costs a Limit Break.
  • Keep even on a weaker rating: current-world Secret, current-world Divine, first Crafted of the island.
  • Fuse into the keeper: extra Commons through Legendaries, extra old Mythicals that are not part of a Limit Break set.
  • Never fuse: the only copy of a ??? , the Shiny you need for Limit Break, or a unit holding a Time / Luck / Damage / Resurrection roll you have not Transferred.

World still beats rarity. An Epic from the newest island can out-hit a Common from anywhere and still be food. An old Divine can look holy in the index and still lose to a fresh Secret. Island list: worlds. Yen to keep opening: farm Yen. Boosts so the opens are not sober: boosts and codes.

Passives do not change the ladder. They change who you keep on a lower rung. A Luck Legendary can stay a week longer than a blank Legendary. It still does not become a Secret.

Why this ladder exists

Anime Fighters is a Star economy. If every rarity were keepable, lockers would freeze and Stars would stop. The game wants Commons deleted so you can chase ??? . Play along. After Update 102 you will have more orbs, fruit, and boosts; none of those make an Epic into an S-tier. Spend them on the rung that can actually Limit Break.

Rebirth does not rewrite rarity. If you prestige, you still hatch Commons first. Check the Rebirth shop and Discord for what you keep; do not assume the ladder inverted.

Scripts that claim to filter rarity for you are how people auto-sell Secrets. Read scripts if you must, then set auto-sell yourself.

The only rarity mistake that cannot be patched with Yen is selling the current world’s only Secret. Everything below Mythical is renewable. ??? is not. Play the ladder like a factory: food in, A+ keepers out, current island on the tier list, old names on the bench.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Anime Fighters players.

What is the full Anime Fighters rarity order?

Common < Rare < Epic < Legendary < Mythical < Crafted < Secret < Divine. Shiny is a stronger variant of any rung, not a separate rarity. Demonic and Heavenly are later craft/ascension layers on top of this ladder.

Is Crafted rarer than Secret?

No. Crafted sits below Secret. You make Crafted on purpose from Mythicals and shards. Secrets are hidden Star pulls, one per world. Crafted is a B-core; current Secrets are S. See Secret fighter tiers.

Should I auto-sell Legendaries?

Once you own a current-world Mythical or Crafted, yes. Until then they are C-fillers. Never auto-sell Mythical and up, and never auto-sell Shinies of those rungs.

Why does a new Secret beat my old Mythical?

World scaling. The September 2026 community rule is: prefer a new-world Secret over an old-world Mythical every time. Levels and nostalgia do not close that gap. Rank context on the Tier List Hub.

Can I Limit Break a Legendary?

The Limit Breaker wants Mythical or higher, and the copies must be Shiny and matching. Legendaries are fillers and food. Spend Shinies on the unit you will Infuse. Guide: Infuse and Limit Break.

Which Divines are worth naming?

Players still cite Vegetable, Great Ninja, Hernando, Engineered Alien, Red Bat, and Flaming Hero. Recency still matters: a Divine from a stale world is A-bench unless Infused. Roster context on the fighters hub.
