Anime Fighters Update 102

Update 102 landed in early September 2026 for [REBORN] Anime Fighters. This page is a player-facing recap, not a reconstructed patch manifesto. We list the codes the drop shipped, the neighboring codes still worth typing on 6 September 2026, and the order of operations that stops you from bricking a Limit Break queue. If a YouTube thumbnail promised a specific KO buff we cannot verify, it is not here.

Codes that shipped around 102

Type these first, in-game, before you AFK:

• UPDATE102 — 3,000 Cursed Orbs, 3,000 Heavenly Fruit, and 50x of every boost. This is the headline pack. It is why the patch is named on this wiki.
• ARTIFACTS — 250 of every fragment, 1,000 Cursed Orbs, 1,000 Heavenly Fruit, plus 25 Mega Luck, Drop, and Yen boosts. Added 6 September 2026. Spend fragments on the artifact order (Hording first), not on Leveling vanity.
• LIMITBREAK — 300 Requiem Tokens, 300 Passive Tokens, 1,500 Cursed Orbs, 1,500 Heavenly Fruit, 25x Luck and Drop boosts. Named because the machine is still the long gate. Do not dump Requiem rolls on a C-rarity.
• UPDATE101 — 3,000 Cursed Orbs, 3,000 Heavenly Fruit, 50x of every boost. The previous week’s twin. Still live in the 6 Sep cluster for many accounts; type it anyway.

Nearby codes you should not skip just because they are older in the same season:

• SHINYSBACK — 20x Shiny Boost, 20x Mega boosts of all types, plus a large Heavenly Fruit and Cursed Orb pile. Gold copies feed Limit Break. See Shiny fighters.
• REBIRTHSHOP — 100 Cursed Orbs and 50 Heavenly Fruit. Exists because the Rebirth shop is a real layer. Confirm the shop in-game rather than guessing discounts.

If a code returns invalid, it expired. Do not invent replacements. Check codes the next morning.

Cursed Orbs and Heavenly Fruit are not Star tickets. They feed Heavenly / Ascension style projects and related machines. Park them unless you already own the keeper those machines want. Boosts are Star tickets. Move them to the boosts page plan.

What you should do after 102 (in order)

1. Redeem. UPDATE102, ARTIFACTS, LIMITBREAK, UPDATE101, SHINYSBACK, REBIRTHSHOP, then the rest of the live list. Inventory first, combat second.
2. Find the new Star. Update drops usually add or spotlight a world. The Secret for that world is on that Star, one ??? per island. Pinkie is Super Island only. Walk worlds and secrets. Do not reopen world one because you are nostalgic.
3. Farm Yen if the Star is expensive. Farm Yen on a previous boss. 50x Yen boosts from UPDATE102 are for this, not for punching tutorial Forces.
4. Open with potions on. Luck, Time, Shiny, Drop — start them at the Star. Mega versions last longer; they still expire if you pop them in the lobby and then go make food. Summon so auto-sell is not eating Mythical-plus Shinies.
5. Reroll passives on the unit you will still run. LIMITBREAK’s Requiem and Passive Tokens belong on the current Secret / Divine / Infused core, not on the trailer Mythical. Transfer later if the new ??? lands with a blank roll. Jobs explained on the fighters hub.
6. Do not Infuse the new bait unit blindly. This is the 102-specific warning. Infuse consumes three Limit Broken copies of the same fighter. A cinematic new Mythical is often the unit the patch wants you to waste. Hatch it, rate it (keep A+), compare it to Secret fighter tiers and the tier list. If it is not the current Secret, Divine, or a Demonic project, it is a B-core at best. Infuse and Limit Break can wait a night.
7. Rebuild teams. Current-world Secret in front. Last-world Secret to A-bench. Crafted and current Mythicals as B. Legendaries as C. Commons as D-food. Best teams and rarities.

We will not list fake 102 balance notes. If Attack was buffed 3%, your lobby will show it. If a YouTuber posted a KO screenshot, that is their Time multiplier, not yours.

How 102 fits the season

Update 101 was the previous orb/fruit bomb. 102 is the same shape plus the ARTIFACTS and LIMITBREAK neighbors. That tells you the live economy: fragments, Limit Break tokens, and Star boosts, not a brand-new rarity rung. The ladder is still Common < Rare < Epic < Legendary < Mythical < Crafted < Secret < Divine. Shinies still matter. Infused still beats Limit Broken on the same body. New-world Secret still beats old-world Mythical.

Named Divines (Vegetable, Great Ninja, Hernando, Engineered Alien, Red Bat, Flaming Hero) did not become trash because 102 shipped. They also did not become automatic S if their world is stale. Recency still ranks them.

Rebirth is in the same season (REBIRTHSHOP exists). Do not prestige mid-102 hunt just to press a new button. Finish the Star session, then read the shop and Discord.

Scripts that claim to “claim 102 twice” are malware with extra steps. Scripts hub if you insist on reading about automation; the boosts in UPDATE102 already are the free method.

What not to spend after 102

Do not spend the 3,000 Heavenly Fruit turning a Common gold. Do not spend 300 Requiem Tokens fishing a Damage roll on a Legendary you will fuse tomorrow. Do not spend three Shiny Mythicals Limit Breaking the bait unit from the thumbnail. Do not spend Mega Shiny boosts while AFK on a boss with a full locker and auto-open off.

Do spend Yen on the new Star, fragments on Hording then Time, and A+ copies of the current Secret into the vault. Update 102 is a resource drop. The patch is won by players who treat it like ammo, not like a personality change. When 103 arrives, run this same page’s checklist with the new code name and keep the bait rule.
